Basic Questions for any Anime Fan – The Inspector Green Tag

So I’ve been tagged by Namhur over at Fiction Realm to complete this Inspector Green Tag questionnaire along with ZeroReq011 and iblessall. Since I only started blogging about a month ago, I haven’t had the chance to be involved with anything like this before. I like answering questions so I’m not opposed to doing this sort of thing. (I’m always willing to answer questions on my ask as well.) Thank you to Namhur for tagging me, you can see his answers here.

1. When was the last time you went to a store containing anime?

Probably around a year ago when I was looking to buy a present for someone. The store was JB Hi-Fi, it has an anime section at the back so I guess it counts.

2. Do you usually watch anime online? On what website?

I stopped watching anime online a long time ago. Back then video quality on streaming sites was pretty bad. As much as I would like to watch anime through official means (e.g. CR, Funi), I live in Australia so I can’t legally use their service. So currently I download all the anime I watch, which does have its benefits, such as no lagging or waiting for ads.

3. First Japanese word you learned from an anime?

I wouldn’t be surprised if the first word I picked up was ‘baka’ like it probably would have been for a lot of people. Another word which I learned really early on was ‘hai’. I remember watching an episode of Naruto and spending the whole episode figuring out exactly what the word ‘hai’ meant.

4. Best animation style in your opinion?

Ufotable. Even ignoring my obsession with Type-Moon, Ufotable has always done an amazing job at animation, especially during action sequences.

6. What is the longest anime you’ve ever watched?

One Piece. Last episode I watched was 675.

7. What is the shortest anime you’ve ever watched?

I think Ishida to Asakura is the shortest anime I have seen. Its episodes are only 2 minutes long, and that includes ending credits.
