Mobseka 08 – More Conflict

Carla is going to be the focus for this episode it seems. Over the last few episodes she’s kept on briefly appearing with hints that she will need Leon’s help for something soon, so with all that surely she will be a relevant recurring character from now on.

Whether or not that is a good thing I don’t know yet, but by the end of this episode maybe I will have a better idea.

She is working with this crazy person though…

After that confrontation which I won’t go into because it’s dumb, Olivia isn’t really in a position to reasonably do anything so as expected Leon takes it upon himself to fix everything.

Carla is apparently Purple’s ex-fiance. I guess that means that she will eventually join Leon’s Harem?

Anyway, Olivia plus these three guys have been recruited by Carla to go stop some sky pirate attack or something.

Meanwhile, back at the school.

Angelica has just returned and is looking for Olivia. She runs into Stephanie and this happens.

I’m not sure what Stephanie expected from the confrontation though. If I didn’t know better I would assume she just likes being beaten up.

Blue tries to ask his mother for stuff so he can help with the pirates but she refuses.

Hearing that Leon is already involved gets her excited much to the dismay of Blue though.

While on the way to the confrontation with the pirates, Leon starts making some new friends.

Well not really… He will probably become friends with them at some point, but for now he is just cheating them out of more money.

Not that they wanted to play anymore, but the game is interrupted by the pirate attack.

Leon overwhelms the pirates all by himself and they quickly surrender.

Mission complete, but when they arrive at Carla’s family instead of the promised reward they receive what was for all but Leon quite the unexpected greeting.

Leon straight away blames Carla for everything (rightly so) and she has no choice but to confess everything.

Interestingly enough, despite Carla being the focus for this episode, we still don’t know almost anything about her yet.

Episode ends with Olivia going hysterical about various things. I do understand this is mainly the result of Leon stealing any chances she might have had to have some self-growth happen recently, but that doesn’t make it any less dumb.

Hopefully next episode Olivia’s problems are finally resolved so we can get to more interesting things. Also Marie needs to show up again too as she wasn’t in this episode at all.
